Narrative:PROBABLE CAUSE: FUEL STARVATION, IMPROPER FUEL, IMPROPER AIRCRAFT SERVICING (FUELING), AND CLEARANCE NOT POSSIBLE. FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO THE ACCIDENT WERE: NO SUITABLE TERRAIN, LOW CEILINGS, DUSK AND TREES.
This Aircraft suffered Substantial Damage!, It was NOT "Damaged beyond Repair" Yes the L/H and R/H wings might need to be Exchanged, v.s. being repaired or rebuilt due to costs, but all parts are available, control Surfaces, Etc. are being rebuilt or readily available, We already had on hand brand new Firewalls, and front end Fuselage Tunnel assemblies, Look up the Navion SRM, or Illustrated Parts Manual, you can get what parts you need, their are many NOS Spares for NAvion Aircraft.
