The plane was flying from Poznan to Bratislava when it crashed into Mount Babia Gora, near the Polish-Slovak border at an altitude of about 1500m AMSL. Visibility was poor. Burned debris and bodies of all three persons aboard were found a few hours later by ground rescue team. Mount Babia Gora is an isolated moutain 1725m high and often shrouded in clouds
