Narrative:On 4/9/1962, XJ603 ("H-213") a Sea Vixen FAW.1 of 892 Sqn FAA RN was written off when it struck the round-down when landing on board HMS Hermes, while the carrier was operating in the Mediterranean Sea off Hal Far, Malta. XJ603 slid up the deck and fell into the sea off the angle deck, killing both crew - Lt. Robert G. Lunn (pilot) and Lt. Edward R. Mason (observer)
