F-AIHP Latecoere 21 bis (MSN 73/2); first registered 9.4.27 (C of R 1649) to Cie Generale d’Entreprises Aeronautiques (Latecoere), Paris (based Marseille). Re-registered to Cie Generale Aeropostale, Marseille. C of T 12.27 when upgraded to to Latécoère 23. The Latécoère 23 was an enlarged version of the Late 21 (converted from Latécoère 21bis F-AIHP MSN 73/2) for 4-6 passengers, powered by Farman engines and spanning 28.00 metres. With accommodation for eight passengers it had a maximum take-off weight of 7,503 kg

Written off (destroyed) 31.12.28: Crew of six (three pilots and three engineers) was engaged in a test flight on behalf of the French manufacturer Latécoère and the operator L'Aéropostale. Shortly after takeoff from Marseille seaplane's base, while climbing to 1,000 feet, aircraft went out of control and crashed into the sea. All six occupants were killed.
