A Boeing 737-500, operated by VIM Airlines was damaged just prior to takeoff from Riga International Airport, Latvia.
The aircraft skidded off the runway, causing damage to the nr.1 engine air inlet cowl. The aircraft was able to taxi back to the apron. The aircraft carried the Togliatti Lada ice hockey club team on a flight to Ufa, Russia.
