Following a loss of engine power, the aircraft ditched to the waters of Hillsborough Bay off Davis Island shortly after takeoff from Peter O Knight Airport (KTPF), Tampa, Forida. The airplane submerged, sustaining substantial damage, and the sole pilot onboard was not injured.
