The aircraft crashed in a field near Carr Road, Gringley-on-the-Hill, Bassetlaw, Nottinghamshire, next to the runway of a grass airstrip, coming to rest inverted. According to the following posting on the Nottinghamshire Police Facebook page (see link #5):

"INCIDENT: Plane crash
Police were called at 1.15 pm today (19 June 2017) to reports of a crash involving a light aircraft. The plane had come down in a field in Carr Road, Gringley on the Hill. The pilot and one passenger escaped the crash with injuries that are not thought to be serious. However, the pilot was taken to hospital for treatment.

Temporary road closures were in place to allow emergency services to work at the scene in Carr Road, Ings Road and Middlebridge Road. The roads have now been reopened. The incident has been referred to the Air Accidents Investigation Branch."
