United Airlines flight UA1536 suffered a battery fire incident on a flight from San Francisco, California, to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's unclear if the incident occurred in the air or on the ground at Jackson Hole.
The FAA reported that the fire was extinguished by cabin crew members, and that three persons were injured.

The statement made by the FAA did not indicate if this was a lithium battery brought on board by a passenger. The return leg back to San Francisco was delayed by 90 minutes.
