The aircraft, am experimental Bryk built Velocity XL-RG, Force landed to field terrain south of Santa Fe, New Mexico following a reported encounter with icing conditions. The airplane sustained unreported damage. The seriously injured sole pilot onboard was transported to an area hospital with back, leg and arm injuries and as of 1/16 is reported in critical condition.
