The Cessna F172N suffered a runway excursion accident at Wasserkuppe Airfield, Germany. Police reports state that the pilot attempted to go around after trying to land on runway 24. The aircraft continued past the end of the runway, broke through a barrier and crossed a road, hitting several bystanders. Three persons have died.
