The pilot of the tailwheel equipped airplane reported that, during takeoff, the airplane veered to the right and exited the side of the runway into an alfalfa field. The airplane subsequently went through the airport perimeter fence and nosed over, coming to rest inverted.
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the lower fuselage and left wing.
The pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
