c/no.6279: Floatplane delivered to DH Canada unassembled and without UK CofA. Issued with type approval by the RCAF at Rockcliffe, Ontario 18.6.35. First registered CF-AEO on 28.6.35 to Quebec Airways Ltd, Montreal. Re-registered 11.7.35 to Canadian Airways Ltd, Winnipeg.

Crashed and destroyed by fire 18.7.35. Shortly after takeoff from Moncton Airport, New Brunswick, while climbing, aircraft stalled and crashed in flames. All five occupants were rescued while the aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire. The reason for the occurrence is unknown but it seems one of the wing dropped shortly after rotation. Registration cancelled 18.7.35
