De Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth "108" [MSN 3167] of AeronŠutica Militar: Supplied new ex-DeHavilland to AeronŠutica Militar (Portugese Army Air Corps). C of A 3727 issued 16.1.33 to Ministry of War, Lisbon. To Portuguese AF as 9; re-numbered as 108 in 1935.

Written off (destroyed) 31.3.37 when crashed into a telegraph pole at Pero Pinheiro, Sintra. Pilot killed. According to a rough translation into English of the original Portugese blog (see link #3 & #4 for the original Portugese text):

"March 31, 1937
The Tiger Moth with registration number 108 of the Military Aeronautics collides, in Pero Pinheiro, Sintra, with a telegraph pole. 1st Pilot Corporal Jo„o Dias Leite Faria died the following day as a result of his injuries."
