During a promotional flight, "Tolima" stalled executing maneuvers at low altitude over the downtown area of the city, crashed into house and burned. Pilot (Helmuth von Krohn), mechanic (Christian Meyer) and three passengers (Ernesto Cortissoz, von Nikisch, Troost) died.
