Narrative:Ex-RAF WB969; delivered 27/3/1950, written off 29/1/1958. Struck off charge 1/2/1958 as Cat5(scrap). However, rebuilt and sold to RAF Gliding & Soaring Association as RAF GSA 247, then to civilian ownership as BGA 2036. Substantially damaged when stalled on failed launch, Lindholme, North Yorkshire 24/8/80.
Preserved at AeroVenture, Doncaster, to whom it was presented in 2001
