Narrative:
On July 6, 2004, at 10:53 ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time) a Piper PA-28-181, N47984, was destroyed when it impacted mountainous terrain near Qaqortoq, Kujalleq municipality, near Cape Thorvaldsen, Greenland (at approximate Coordinates: 60°43′20″N 46°02′25″W). The pilot received fatal injuries. The aircraft was destroyed, and the US registration N47984 was formally cancelled by the FAA on 08-07-2004 as sold to Denmark.
