Narrative:
Enstrom F-28A N4893; Written off (damaged beyond repair): Manufactured in 1969, this helicopter was written off on July 5, 1975. In a climb after take off on a local sightseeing flight, a tail boom attach bolt failed, and the pilot made a forced landing on water near San Francisco, California. The helicopter subsequently rolled over but the pilot nor the two passengers were injured.

Registration N4893 only belatedly cancelled on 8 August 2012
