Narrative:
F-AMTR DH.84 Dragon (6057) ex G-ACLP: Registered 26.1.34 (C of R 3658) to Robert Germain, Algiers. Re-registered 2.9.35 to Henri Germain, Algiers. Re-registered 26.10.37 to Etat Francais for use by Air Afrique. Registration cancelled as "Destroyed" 28.2.38. According to one published source (see link #6)

"The DH Dragon F-AMTR, ex G-ACLP, was conveyed by Henri Germain to Algiers on August 6, 1933. Acquired in a personal capacity, he made a tour of Africa in 1934. It was transferred to LANA at the end of 1935 and used on the line Algiers - Tunis from November 1935.

When LANA ceased operations, its property was transferred to the French State and is taken into account by Air Afrique, which uses it on the Tunis-Casablanca route. In mid-January 1938, it is rugged along the coast. It is recorded as destroyed in February 1938."

NOTE: Aircraft was written off in an accident in Tunisia - details not yet known. However, the accident took place after 26.10.37 (when re-registered to Etat Francais) and before 28.2.38 (when registration cancelled). Most likely that the aircraft was written off in a crash in mid-January 1938, but the exact date has not yet been established.
