Narrative:
Lancaster W4339 ("PM-M" of 103 Sqn, RAF) took off from RAF Elsham Wolds at 01:27 hours on the night of 2/3rd December 1942, detailed to bomb Frankfurt, Germany. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and it failed to return to base. The aircraft crashed between Trebur and Groß Gerau, Hessen, 8 Km south Russelsheim (at approximate coordinates: 49°55′30″N, 08°24′20″E)
