Narrative:
Mission-Bremen. Took off from RAF Swinderby at 2202 hrs. Shot down by night fighter pilot Oberfeldwebel Paul Gildner of the 4./NJG 1, who was flying Do 215 B-5 G9+NM from Leeuwarden airfield. Crashed 01:58 hrs into the Wanddenzee near Ameland. Sgt Domanski and Sgt Bankowski were first buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Nes, both now lie in Jonkerbos War Cemetery:
